ABOUT RICE

Rice is one of the oldest cultivated crops. It was probably first farmed in Australia and there is an evidence of its spread in the Chinese Pearl River Basin 8,200 - 13,500 years ago. Independently of that, it also spread in the Amazon. Today, there are thousands of types of rice and they cover approximately 20% of the total world food consumption.

WHAT IS IT SUITABLE FOR

Our fine rice flour is milled from quality Arborio rice grown in Italy. It can be used for baking both savoury and sweet desserts, for preparing biscuits, cakes, bread, pancakes, noodles, dumplings and other food. May contain traces of gluten.

We mill rice flour using a unique milling technology, which causes significantly less damage to the grain starch. Thanks to this, Pernerka acquires excellent baking properties.
